Gyros Burger

Burgerul se afla printre cele mai populare feluri de mancare din America. Si pe buna dreptate! Insa, uneori, dorim sa schimbam aromele acestuia. Si de ce sa nu incercam aromele Greciei intr-un gyros?

INGREDIENTE / INGREDIENTS:

(pentru 4 portii / for 4 servings)

  • 4 chifle / 4 buns
  • 600 grame spata de porc / 600 grams pork shoulder
  • 1/2 lingurita chimen / 1/2 teaspoon caraway
  • 1/2 lingurita fulgi de chilli / 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes
  • 1/2 lingurita oregano / 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • Sare / Salt
  • 3 linguri ulei de masline / 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 rosie / 1 tomato
  • 1 ceapa rosie / 1 red onion

Recomand pregatirea carnii cu o zi inainte, pentru a avea o friptura foarte gustoasa. Presaram carnea cu sare, chimen, fulgi de chilli si oregano si lasam la marinat minim 12 ore. A doua zi, incingem 2 linguri ulei de masline intr-o cratita si prajim carnea pe toate partile timp de 2 minute. Apoi adaugam o jumatate de cana de apa si acoperim cu un capac. Gatim inabusit, la foc mic timp de 3 ore, adaugand din cand in cand cate o jumatate de cana de apa. Cand carnea este foarte bine facuta, o scoatem pe un fund de lemn si o taiem in fasii subtiri pe care apoi le punem intr-o tigaie in care am incins in prealabil 1 lingura de ulei de masline. Prajim la foc mare timp de 2 minute amestecand constant.

Intre timp pregatim sosul tzatiki dupa aceasta reteta.

Pentru asamblare taiem chiflele in doua (recomand aceasta reteta) si le acoperim cu cate 1 lingura sos de tzatiki, ceapa, rosii si carne.

Servim cu cartofi prajiti. Recomand pregatirea lor fara adaos de grasimi in Actifry.

Gyros Burger

The burger is one of the most popular dishes in America. And rightly so! But sometimes we want to change its flavors. And why not try the flavors of Greece in a gyros?

I recommend preparing the meat one day before, in order to have a very tasty meat. Sprinkle the meat with salt, caraway, chilli flakes and oregano and leave to marinate for at least 12 hours. The next day, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a saucepan and fry the meat on all sides for 2 minutes. Then add half a cup of water and cover with a lid. Cook simmered over low heat for 3 hours, adding from time to time half a cup of water. When the meat is very well done, take it out on a wooden bottom and cut it into thin strips. Put in a pan in which we have previously heated 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Fry over high heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Meanwhile, prepare the tzatiki sauce according to this recipe.

For assembly, cut the buns in half (I recommend this recipe) and cover them with 1 tablespoon of tzatiki sauce, onion, tomatoes and meat.

Serve with french fries. I recommend to cook them without adding oil in Actifry.
