Cheesesteak Quesadilla

INGREDIENTE / INGREDIENTS

(pentru 4 portii / for 4 servings)

  • 400 grame muschi de vita / 400 grams veal tenderloin
  • 1 lingurita sare / 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 lingurite chipotle chilli pepper / 2 teaspoons chipotle chilli pepper
  • 4 catei de usturoi / 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 lingurita oregano / 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 4 linguri sos salsa / 4 tablespoons salsa sauce
  • 1 ardei verde / 1 green pepper
  • 1 ceapa rosie mare / 1 large red onion
  • 2 linguri ulei de masline / 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 lipii / 4 pita bread
  • 100 grame cascaval / 100 grams hard cheese

Taiem muschiul de vita cubulete mici, adaugam sare, 1 lingurita chipotle chilli, usturoiul zdrobit, oregano si sosul salsa si lasam la marinat pentru 1-2 ore.

Incingem intr-o tigaie 1 lingura de ulei de masline si prajim carnea pe ambele parti. Cand este gatita, scoatem carnea intr-un bol si o lasam sa se odihneasca timp de 10 minute.

Intre timp taiem ardeiul fasii si ceapa rondele. Presaram cu sare si 1 lingurita de chipotle chilli. Adaugam in aceeasi tigaie 1 lingura de ulei de masline si prajim legumele timp de 2 – 3 minute.

Intr-o tigaie curata, incalzim o lipie timp de cateva secunde si adaugam pe jumatate din lipie cate un sfert din cantitatea de cascaval, carne si legume. Acoperim cu cealalta jumatate de lipie si prajim pe ambele parti.

Servim quesadilla cu smantana, sos salsa si avocado cu rodie si un pahar de Muse Day de la Recas, un cupaj roze (sec) obtinut din Merlot si Cabernet Sauvignon, fructuos și răcoritor, cu un final bine integrat, ce amintește de notele de fructe confiate.

Cheesesteak Quesadilla

Cheesesteak Quesadilla or crispy pita bread filled with tender strips of grilled veal, green pepper, onion and cheese served with the tastiest avocado with pomegranate salsa. Shall we try?

Cut the veal into small cubes, add salt, 1 teaspoon chipotle chilli, crushed garlic, oregano and salsa sauce and leave to marinate for 1-2 hours.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan and fry the meat on both sides. When it is cooked, remove the meat in a bowl and let it rest for 10 minutes.

In the meantime, slice the pepper and the onion. Sprinkle with salt and 1 teaspoon of chipotle chilli. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the same pan and fry the vegetables for 2-3 minutes.

In a clean pan, heat a pita bread for a few seconds and add a quarter of the amount of cheese, meat and vegetables to half of the pita. Cover with the other half of the pita and fry on both sides.

Serve the quesadilla with sour cream, salsa sauce and avocado with pomegranate.
