English version
Linguine alla Puttanesca
Linguine alla Puttanesca are a traditional Italian recipe from Naples, which is prepared extremely quickly. If you have some tomatoes, garlic, olives, anchovies and capers in the fridge, make this recipe. There are various colorful stories that explain how this kind of food appeared and how it got its name of Puttanesca pasta. „Puttanesca” roughly translates as „working girls” (😊) in Italian. A story tells how this kind of food was invented in the brothels of Naples, so that the smells found in the kitchen would attract potential customers. Whatever the origins, today the recipe is considered a classic Italian pasta recipe. Budget-friendly, quick and easy to make, but delicious enough to attract family and friends (or, why not, „paying customers”… 😉)
Boil the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a pan and add the crushed garlic. Saute lightly and add finely chopped anchovies, olives and cherry tomatoes. Saute for 2 minutes and add the cooked and drained pasta.
Leave it to cook for 2 minutes, add finely chopped green parsley and arrange on 2 plates.
Sprinkle the tuna steak with salt and pepper and cook it on the grill for 2 minutes on each side. Cut it into slices and arrange it over the pasta.
