Papara cu slanina … nu stiu cum se face de un asemenea clasic al bucatariei romanesti lipsea din portofoliul “Inspiratie la Fix”.

Constatam cu stupoare absenta nemotivata si ne punem pe treaba. Oua proaspete de la tara, slanina si carnati facuti de mama, cativa castraveti murati si obligatoriu ceapa rosie.

INGREDIENTE / INGREDIENTS

(pentru 1 portie / for 1 serving)

  • 2 oua / 2 eggs
  • 2 felii slanina / 2 bacon slices
  • 50 grame carnat afumat / 50 grams smoked sausages
  • Sare / Salt

Nimic mai simplu … Intr-o tigaie incinsa punem la prajit feliile de slanina crestate. Cand acestea sunt rumene adaugam carnatii taiati in feliute subtiri si continuam sa prajim 2-3 minute. Adaugam ouale, presaram putina sare si lasam sa se prajeasca putin apoi amestecam si mai lasam pe foc pana cand acestea sunt inchegate.

Servim cu castraveti murati, ceapa rosie, paine proaspata si multa pofta.

Tips: multiplicati reteta in functie de cate persoane aveti la masa.

Daca v-a placut papara cu slanina, puteti sa mai incercati si un mic dejun romanesc cu carne si carnati la garnita, oua posate romanesti sau varianta mai “fancy” sub forma de bagels cu ochiuri si carne la garnita.

Bacon Scrambled Eggs

Bacon Scrambled Eggs … I don’t know how but this classic dish of Romanian cuisine was missing from the „Inspiratie la Fix” portfolio.

We notice the unmotivated absence and we get to work. Fresh eggs from the country side, bacon and sausages made by my mother, some pickled cucumbers and mandatory red onions.

Nothing simpler… In a hot pan, fry the sliced bacon. When they are brown, add the sausages cut into thin slices and continue to fry for 2-3 minutes. Add the eggs and let them fry a little, then mix and leave them till they are set.

Serve with pickles, red onions, fresh bread and lots of appetite.

Tips: multiply the recipe depending on how many people you have at the table.

If you liked bacon scrambled eggs, you can also try a Romanian breakfast with meat and sausages for garnish, Romanian eggs or the more „fancy” version, bagels with fried eggs and pork meat.
