Salata Caprese

Originala din Italia, aceasta salata este o alegere potrivita pentru un pranz sau pentru o cina rapida. Ingredientele de baza ale acestei salate sunt simple: rosii, mozzarella, sos pesto. Eu insa am ales sa ii dau un accent personal si am facut cateva mici schimbari.

INGREDIENTE / INGREDIENTS:

(pentru 2 portii / for 2 servings)

  • Mix de rosii / Mix tomatoes
  • 200 grame mozzarella / 200 grams mozzarella
  • 2 fire usturoi verde sau 1 catel de usturoi / 2 green garlic pieces or 1 garlic cloves
  • 2 frunze busuioc proaspat / 2 fresh basil leaves
  • Ulei de masline / Olive oil
  • Sare / Salt

Taiem rosiile si mozzarelle felii si le asezam pe un platou. Pregatim un dressing din usturoi verde taiat marunt, frunzele de busuioc taiate fasii subtiri, sare si ulei de masline. Turnam dressing-ul peste salata si servim.

Puteti acompania aceasta salata de celebrele crostini.

Caprese Salad

Originally from Italy, this salad is a good choice for lunch or a quick dinner. The basic ingredients of this recipe are simple: tomatoes, mozzarella, pesto sauce. But I chose to give it a personal accent and made some small changes.

I chose a mix of tomatoes and cut the large ones into slices and the cherry ones in half. Place on a plate and cover with slices of mozzarella. Prepare a dressing of green garlic (finely chopped), fresh basil (cut into thin strips), salt and olive oil. Pour this dressing over the salad and serve.

You can accompany this salad with the famous crostini.
