Exista locuri in care Revelionul inseamna muzica tare, aglomeratie, artificii si o noapte care trebuie neaparat sa fie spectaculoasa. Si exista locuri in care trecerea dintre ani poate fi altfel.

Mai lenta. Mai eleganta. Mai aproape de tine.

Dupa experienta de anul trecut la Castelul Daniel, cand am descoperit un Revelion relaxat, rafinat si memorabil, intr-un loc in care timpul chiar pare sa curga mai incet si mai frumos, mi-am dat seama ca sunt locuri in care nu trebuie sa astepti urmatorul an pentru a-ti dori sa te intorci. Citeste aici intreaga experienta.

Iar vestea buna este ca povestea continua.

Pentru trecerea dintre 2026 si 2027, gazdele de la Daniel Castle Resort pregatesc din nou un Revelion neconventional, construit mai putin in jurul ideii de „o singura noapte de petrecere” si mai mult in jurul unei experiente complete: patru nopti la castel, dimineti tihnite, gastronomie, spa, natura, traditii locale si, bineinteles, momentul festiv al trecerii in Noul An.

Un Revelion care incepe inainte de Revelion. Poate ca acesta este primul lucru care imi place la ideea noului pachet. Revelionul nu incepe pe 31 decembrie la ora 20:00. Incepe din 30 decembrie.

Ai timp sa ajungi, sa te instalezi, sa descoperi camera, sa lasi bagajele si, mai ales, sa uiti de graba cu care ne-am obisnuit in viata de zi cu zi.

Sejurul se desfasoara intre 30 decembrie 2026 si 3 ianuarie 2027 si include patru nopti de cazare, mic dejun tip bufet, acces la Cellarium Slow Down Spa, cine, experiente in natura si in comunitatea locala, precum si petrecerea de Revelion.

Cu alte cuvinte, ai patru zile in care poti sa faci exact ceea ce ar trebui sa facem mai des in vacante: sa nu faci nimic in graba.

O camera cu poveste. La Castelul Daniel, nici cazarea nu este una oarecare.

Fiecare camera are propriul nume, propria atmosfera si o legatura cu istoria domeniului. Detaliile originale ale castelului se intalnesc cu confortul contemporan, iar rezultatul este mai degraba o experienta de locuire intr-o poveste decat o simpla camera de hotel.

Este unul dintre motivele pentru care un sejur aici se simte diferit. Nu vii doar sa dormi undeva. Vii sa locuiesti, pentru cateva zile, intr-un fragment de istorie transilvaneana.

Si poate ca aceasta este si explicatia pentru atmosfera aceea aparte pe care am simtit-o anul trecut: eleganta nu vine din ostentatie, ci din detalii.

Cellarium Slow Down Spa sau arta de a incetini. Daca exista un loc care defineste cel mai bine spiritul acestui Revelion, acela este Cellarium Slow Down Spa. Ascuns sub boltile pivnitei istorice, Cellarium este gandit ca un refugiu cald pentru zilele reci de iarna. Un loc in care poti lasa anul care se termina sa ramana in urma si sa intri in noul an cu bateriile incarcate.

Anul trecut, spa-ul a fost pentru mine una dintre acele experiente care au facut diferenta.

Nu pentru ca ar fi fost nevoie de ceva spectaculos.

Ci tocmai pentru ca nu a fost.

A fost liniste.

A fost timp.

A fost senzatia aceea placuta ca, pentru cateva ore, nimeni nu iti cere nimic si nu trebuie sa ajungi nicaieri.

Si totusi… este Revelion! Nu va imaginati insa ca vorbim despre un Revelion in care ne culcam la ora 22:00. Ultima seara a anului are toate ingredientele unei sarbatori adevarate. Cina festiva este urmata de muzica, DJ si open bar, iar dupa miezul noptii petrecerea continua in atmosfera calda si intima a castelului.

Doar ca aici petrecerea nu trebuie sa anuleze linistea.

Poti sa dansezi.

Poti sa stai la povesti.

Poti sa iesi pentru momentul de la miezul noptii.

Poti sa te intorci apoi in castel.

Sau poti pur si simplu sa te bucuri de oamenii din jurul tau.

Este, poate, una dintre cele mai frumoase forme de lux: libertatea de a sarbatori in ritmul tau.

O masa care spune povestea locului. Daca ai citit povestea mea de anul trecut, stii deja ca gastronomia a avut un rol important in experienta. La Castelul Daniel, mancarea nu este doar o necesitate intre doua activitati. Este parte din poveste.

Pentru Revelionul 2027, programul culinar include doua cine à la carte, o cina vanatoreasca traditionala in jurul focului de tabara si cina festiva de Revelion. Ingredientele locale, traditiile regiunii si ideile contemporane sunt reunite intr-un program care se intinde pe tot parcursul sejurului.

Si daca anul trecut focul, aromele de iarna, preparatele traditionale si mesele lungi au fost parte din acea senzatie de „vacanta adevarata”, imi imaginez ca noua editie va pastra exact acelasi spirit.

Poate chiar mai bine.

Pentru ca acum stim deja ca la Castelul Daniel masa nu se termina neaparat cand dispare ultima farfurie de pe masa.

De multe ori, atunci incep povestile.

O cina vanatoreasca la foc de tabara. Una dintre experientele incluse in noul pachet este cina vanatoreasca traditionala, organizata in jurul focului de tabara.

Este genul de moment pe care nu il poti reproduce intr-un restaurant din oras.

Aer rece.

Foc.

Intunericul iernii.

Arome care vin dinspre ceaun.

Oameni adunati in jurul focului.

Povesti.

Si senzatia aceea ca, pentru cateva ore, ai iesit complet din prezentul agitat si ai intrat intr-o alta epoca.

Exact genul de experienta pentru care mergi la un castel.

Dincolo de zidurile castelului. Noul Revelion nu inseamna insa doar stat in castel.

Pentru cei care vor sa descopere si imprejurimile, programul include o drumetie ghidata in Cheile Varghisului si Ziua Mestesugurilor Traditionale, o ocazie de a descoperi traditii si priceperea oamenilor locului.

Si imi place mult ideea acestei combinatii.

Un pic de aventura.

Un pic de natura.

Un pic de istorie.

Un pic de gastronomie.

Un pic de spa.

Si suficienta libertate intre ele incat sa nu simti ca ai venit intr-o excursie cu program militar.

Patru zile in care timpul curge altfel. Poate acesta este, de fapt, luxul suprem al unui astfel de Revelion.

Timpul.

Sa bei cafeaua fara sa verifici ceasul.

Sa stai mai mult la micul dejun.

Sa intri la spa cand ai chef.

Sa iesi la plimbare.

Sa stai seara la foc.

Sa mananci incet.

Sa povestesti.

Sa razi.

Sa cunosti oameni noi.

Sa te bucuri de castel.

Si, intr-un final, sa te trezesti in prima dimineata din 2027 fara senzatia ca ai nevoie de o vacanta dupa vacanta.

Un Revelion pentru cei care cauta altceva. Cred ca aici este diferenta. Revelionul de la Castelul Daniel nu pare construit pentru cei care vor sa bifeze „cea mai mare petrecere”, „cel mai zgomotos DJ” sau „cea mai nebuna noapte”.

Este pentru cei care vor sa intre in noul an cu o stare buna.

Cu amintiri frumoase.

Cu mese bune.

Cu oameni interesanti.

Cu experiente pe care sa le povesteasca mai tarziu.

Cu senzatia ca au fost undeva, nu doar ca au participat la un eveniment.

Un Revelion regal, dar fara rigiditate.

Elegant, dar fara ostentatie.

Linistit, dar deloc plictisitor.

Festiv, dar fara agitatia care ne face uneori sa uitam de ce sarbatorim.

New Year’s Eve at Daniel Castle: The Story Continues

There are places where New Year’s Eve means loud music, crowds, fireworks and a night that absolutely has to be spectacular. And there are places where the passage from one year to the next can be different.

Slower. More elegant. Closer to you.

After last year’s experience at Daniel Castle, where I discovered a relaxed, refined and memorable New Year’s Eve in a place where time truly seems to flow more slowly and more beautifully, I realized that some places don’t make you wait a whole year before wanting to go back.

And the good news is that the story continues.

For the passage from 2026 to 2027, the hosts at Daniel Castle Resort are once again preparing an unconventional New Year’s Eve, built less around the idea of „one night of partying” and more around a complete experience: four nights at the castle, unhurried mornings, gastronomy, spa, nature, local traditions and, of course, the festive moment of welcoming the New Year.

A New Year’s Eve that begins before New Year’s Eve

Perhaps this is the first thing I like about the new package. The celebration doesn’t start on December 31st at 8 p.m. It starts on December 30th.

You have time to arrive, settle in, discover your room, drop your bags and, above all, forget the rush we’ve grown used to in everyday life.

The stay runs from December 30, 2026 to January 3, 2027 and includes four nights’ accommodation, buffet breakfast, access to Cellarium Slow Down Spa, dinners, experiences in nature and in the local community, as well as the New Year’s Eve party.

In other words, you get four days to do exactly what we should do more often on holiday: nothing in a hurry.

A room with a story

At Daniel Castle, even the accommodation is anything but ordinary.

Each room has its own name, its own atmosphere and a connection to the history of the estate. The castle’s original details meet contemporary comfort, and the result feels less like a hotel room and more like living inside a story.

If there is one place that best captures the spirit of this New Year’s Eve, it’s Cellarium Slow Down Spa. Tucked beneath the vaults of the historic cellar, Cellarium is designed as a warm refuge for cold winter days. A place where you can leave the ending year behind and step into the new one with your batteries recharged.

Last year, the spa was one of those experiences that made the difference for me.

Not because it needed to be anything spectacular.

But precisely because it wasn’t.

It was quiet.

And yet… it’s New Year’s Eve!

For New Year’s Eve 2027, the culinary program includes two à la carte dinners, a traditional hunter’s dinner around the campfire and the festive New Year’s Eve dinner. Local ingredients, regional traditions and contemporary ideas come together in a program that runs throughout the entire stay.

And if last year the fire, the winter aromas, the traditional dishes and the long tables were part of that „real holiday” feeling, I imagine the new edition will keep exactly the same spirit.

One of the experiences included in the new package is the traditional hunter’s dinner, held around the campfire.

It’s the kind of moment you can’t recreate in a city restaurant.
