Lipie cu za’atar

Niciun platou de mezze fara o paine traditionala. Astazi o incercam intr-o varianta noua acompaniata de ulei de masline si za’atar.

INGREDIENTE / INGREDIENTS:

  • 350 grame faina alba / 350 grams flour
  • 120 ml apa calda / 120 ml warm water
  • 120 ml lapte cald / 120 ml warm milk
  • 7 grame drojdie uscata / 7 grams dried yeast
  • 2 linguri ulei de masline / 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lingurita zahar / 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 lingurita sare / 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 lingurita ulei masline / 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Za’atar / Za’atar

Intr-un bol amestecam apa, laptele, drojdia, zaharul si ulei de masline. Deasupra adaugam faina si sarea si framantam bine. Lasam la dospit intr-un bol uns cu putin ulei, timp de 2 ore. Rasturnam aluatul pe blatul uns cu putin ulei si il impartim in bucati de 50 grame. Modelam fiecare bucata sub forma de bila si mai lasam la dospit sub un prosop timp de 15 minute. Presam cu ajutorul palmei fiecare bila sub forma de lipie cu diametrul de 6 – 7 cm. Asezam fiecare lipie intr-o tigaie incinsa (fara adaos de ulei) si le coacem pe aragaz la foc mic, intorcandu-le pe fiecare parte. Cand sunt gata le ungem cu putin ulei de masline si le presaram cu za’atar.

Za’atar Flatbread

The flatbread is the traditional Lebanese bread.

In a bowl mix water, milk, yeast, sugar and olive oil. On top add flour and salt and knead well. Leave to rise in a bowl greased with oil for 2 hours. Pour the dough on the top greased with oil and divide it into 50 grams pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and leave it to rise under a towel for 15 minutes. Press with the palm of your hand each ball in the form of a flatbread with a diameter of 6-7 cm. Place each stick in a hot pan (without adding oil) and bake on the stove over low heat, turning on each side. When they are ready, grease them with a little olive oil and sprinkle them with za’atar.
