INGREDIENTE (pentru 4 portii)
• 100 grame morcovi
• 50 grame ardei verde
• 50 grame ardei rosu
• 90 grame ceapa
• 1 catel de usturoi
• 30 grame telina apio
• 5 grame ghimbir
• 30 grame ulei de masline
• 150 grame orez basmati
• 400 grame creveti cruzi
• 40 ml sos de soia
• 40 ml sos de stridii

Pregatim mai intai legumele. Taiem morcovii bastonase (aprox.

Amestecam bine 1–2 minute, pana cand sosul imbraca uniform toate ingredientele.
Servim imediat, presarand ceapa verde tocata marunt.

Fried Rice with Vegetables and Shrimp
Fried Rice with Vegetables and Shrimp – a fast, colorful, and aromatic Asian-style dinner! Fried Rice with Vegetables and Shrimp is the kind of dish that pulls your dinner out of monotony in under 30 minutes. It has that unmistakable Asian restaurant aroma, yet it’s made at home with no complicated techniques and no hard-to-find ingredients. It’s vibrant, fresh, loaded with veggies, tender shrimp, and a savory umami sauce that ties everything together just like in an authentic wok stir-fry.
What makes it so good? The vegetables stay crisp, the shrimp turn out soft and juicy, the rice remains fluffy, and the mix of oyster sauce and soy sauce transforms everything into a perfectly balanced, aromatic, and surprisingly satisfying dish. Ideal for busy evenings, meal prep, or anytime you’re craving something healthy, colorful, and full of flavor.
INGREDIENTS (serves 4)
• 100 g carrots
• 50 g green bell pepper
• 50 g red bell pepper
• 90 g onion
• 1 garlic clove
• 30 g celery (apio)
• 5 g ginger
• 30 g olive oil
• 150 g basmati rice
• 400 g raw shrimp
• 40 ml soy sauce
• 40 ml oyster sauce
We start by prepping the vegetables. Cut the carrots into thin batons (approx. 5 cm x 5 mm), slice the peppers into thin strips about 1 cm wide, and slice the onion into thicker pieces.
Heat a wok or large pan over high heat and add 10 g of oil + 20 ml water. Add the carrots and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly browned but still crisp. Transfer them to a bowl and keep warm.
In the same pan, add another 10 g oil + 20 ml water, then add the red and green bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes, then transfer them to the bowl with the carrots.
Add another 10 g oil + 20 ml water and cook the onion for 3–4 minutes. Transfer to the same bowl and cover to keep everything warm.
Next, add the chopped garlic, grated ginger, finely diced celery, and the remaining oil. Stir-fry for 1 minute, just until fragrant, then transfer these to the bowl as well.
Separately, cook the basmati rice according to the package instructions until it becomes fluffy and separates easily.
In a clean pan, add a tablespoon of water and the shrimp. Steam-cook them for 5–8 minutes until they turn pink and tender (or stir-fry them in a little oil if you prefer).
Once everything is ready, return all the sautéed vegetables, rice, and shrimp to the pan.
In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce with the oyster sauce, then pour it over the ingredients in the pan. Stir for 1–2 minutes until everything is evenly coated in the sauce.
Serve immediately, topped with finely chopped green onion.
Fried Rice with Vegetables and Shrimp is one of the fastest Asian-inspired recipes you can make at home—colorful, veggie-packed, full of umami flavor, and perfect for quick weeknight dinners, light meals, or days when you want something balanced yet delicious.
