INGREDIENTE (pentru 4 persoane)
• 600 grame aripioare de pui
• 800 grame coasta de porc
• 12 cartofi mici
• 4 porumbi prefierti
• 2 lingurite sare
• 2 lingurite oregano
• 2 lingurite pudra de usturoi
• 2 lingurite boia dulce
• ½ lingurita fulgi de chilli
• 1 plic praf de copt
• 6 linguri supa de pui
Pentru sos
• 25 grame unt
• 6 catei de usturoi
• 1 borcan supa de pui
• 1 lingura sos worchester
• 1 lingura sos de soia
• 1 lingurita boia
• ¼ lingurita fulgi de chilli
• sucul de la jumatate de lamaie mica
• 2 linguri patrunjel verde tocat marunt

Intre timp, pregatim legumele.

Fifty-Fifty Boil Bag
Who has not heard of the famous boil bag? This type of dish, inspired by the American boil style, is known for its generous combinations of ingredients cooked and then mixed together in a rich, flavorful sauce. It is more than just a recipe, it is an experience where everything comes together in one place and is enjoyed without too many rules. Our version is a bold and incredibly tasty reinterpretation, based on a perfect 50-50 balance between tender pork ribs and chicken wings. It is a sensational combination, completed with potatoes and roasted corn, all brought together by an intense, slightly spicy and very aromatic sauce. The kind of dish that brings people together and turns any ordinary day into a small feast.
INGREDIENTS (for 4 servings)
• 600 grams chicken wings
• 800 grams pork ribs
• 12 small potatoes
• 4 pre-cooked corn cobs
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 2 teaspoons oregano
• 2 teaspoons garlic powder
• 2 teaspoons sweet paprika
• ½ teaspoon chili flakes
• 1 packet baking powder
• 6 tablespoons chicken broth
For the sauce
• 25 grams butter
• 6 cloves of garlic
• 1 jar chicken broth
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tablespoon soy sauce
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• ¼ teaspoon chili flakes
• juice from half a small lemon
• 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
To begin, cut the chicken wings in half and clean them well. Season them with salt, one teaspoon of oregano, one teaspoon of garlic powder, sweet paprika and chili flakes, then mix everything well in a large bowl. Do the same with the pork ribs, then add them over the wings and let everything marinate overnight for a deeper flavor.
The next day, heat a pan and sear the ribs for about two minutes on each side. Transfer them into an oven-safe roasting bag, add three tablespoons of chicken broth, seal the bag and poke a few holes in it. Place it in the preheated oven and cook for about 75 minutes.
Meanwhile, add baking powder over the wings and massage them well. Place them in a similar oven bag together with another three tablespoons of chicken broth. Seal and poke the bag, and after the ribs have already been cooking, place the wings in the oven next to them and continue cooking for another 40 minutes.
Once the time has passed, remove the meat from the bags and place it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Return it to the oven for about 15 minutes, until it becomes nicely browned and slightly crispy.
In the meantime, prepare the vegetables. Wash the potatoes well and boil them in salted water for about 20 minutes until tender. Cut the corn into thicker pieces and roast it until golden. Then add the pre-boiled potatoes and let them brown nicely as well.
For the sauce, melt the butter, then add the chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, paprika and chili flakes. Let it simmer for a few minutes until it starts to thicken slightly, then add the crushed garlic and fresh parsley for extra flavor.
When everything is ready, place the ribs, wings, potatoes and corn into a large bowl or a big bag. Pour the sauce over and mix well so every piece is evenly coated.
For serving, pour everything onto a large tray or directly onto a table covered with baking paper, for that signature, eye-catching presentation. The browned meat, golden potatoes and roasted corn come together beautifully, while the sauce gives everything a glossy finish and an irresistible aroma. Serve hot, alongside pickles.
