Lapte de pasare

Gustul vanilat al copilariei intr-un desert absolut delicios. Cati dintre noi nu am crescut cu lapte de pasare, clatite sau gogosi? In fiecare duminica, mama sau bunica gaseau timp sa ne rasfete cu ceva dulce. Acum copiii adora doar deserturile “ambalate”, insa incerc pe cat posibil sa aduc pe masa copilaria de odinioara.

INGREDIENTE / INGREDIENTS

(pentru 6 portii / for 6 servings)

  • 1,5 l lapte / 1,5 l milk
  • 6 oua / 6 eggs
  • 200 grame zahar / 200 grams sugar
  • 1 lingura esenta de vanilie / 1 tablespoon vanilla flavour
  • 1 praf de sare / 1 pinch of salt

Punem intr-o cratita 1 litru de lapte la fiert. Intre timp batem albusurile spuma cu praful de sare si cu 50 grame de zahar. Adaugam galuste de albus in lapte si le fierbem cate 2 minute pe fiecare parte si apoi le scoatem intr-un bol.

Separat mixam galbenusurile cu 150 grame de zahar, 500 ml lapte si esenta de vanilie. Amestecam crema de galbenusuri cu laptele in care au fiert galustele. Fierbem la bain-marie pana cand crema se ingroasa usor. Turnam sosul de galbenusuri peste galuste si lasam la racit.

Servim laptele de pasare rece cu multa pofta.

Romanian Bird’s Milk

The vanilla taste of childhood in an absolutely delicious dessert. How many of us haven’t grown up with this milky dessert, pancakes or donuts? Every Sunday, our mother or grandmother found time to pamper us with something sweet. Now children only love „packaged” desserts, but I try as much as possible to bring the childhood taste to the table.

Put 1 liter of milk in a saucepan to boil. Meanwhile, beat the egg whites with the salt powder and 50 grams of sugar. Add egg white dumplings and boil them for 2 minutes on each side and then take them out in a bowl.

Separately mix the yolks with 150 grams of sugar, 500 ml of milk and vanilla essence. Mix the yolk cream with the milk in which the dumplings were boiled. Boil in a bain-marie until the cream thickens slightly. Pour the yolk sauce over the dumplings and leave to cool.

Serve cold dessert milk with a lot of appetite.
