Chec cu banane si kefir – pufos, aromat si perfect pentru orice moment al zilei! Cand ai niste banane prea coapte pe blatul din bucatarie si nu vrei sa le irosesti, acest chec cu banane si kefir este solutia perfecta. Se face rapid, din ingrediente simple, iar rezultatul este un chec moale, usor umed si cu un parfum dulceag, discret de banana si vanilie. Kefirul ii da o textura fina si il face sa se pastreze proaspat mai multe zile – desi, sincer, nu prea are sanse sa reziste atat. Merge perfect la cafeaua de dimineata, ca gustare dupa-amiaza sau chiar ca desert usor dupa o masa.

INGREDIENTE (pentru 4 portii)

  • 65 grame unt
  • 175 grame banane coapte
  • 50 grame zahar
  • 1 ou
  • 110 grame faina
  • 1 lingurita praf de copt
  • 1 lingurita bicarbonat
  • 1 praf de sare
  • 50 grame kefir (eu prefer Artesana)
  • 1 lingurita vanilie

Incepem prin a preincalzi cuptorul la 180°C si a unge o tava de chec cu putin unt. O lasam deoparte si trecem la compozitie.

Intr-un bol incapator punem toate ingredientele: untul topit, bananele bine coapte (zdrobite cu furculita), zaharul, oul, faina, praful de copt, bicarbonatul, sarea, kefirul si vanilia. Amestecam totul timp de 20 de secunde la viteza medie (sau manual cu o spatula, pana se omogenizeaza bine).

Turnam aluatul in tava pregatita si il coacem 35 de minute la 180°C, sau pana cand o scobitoare introdusa in mijloc iese curata.

Dupa ce il scoatem din cuptor, il lasam 30 de minute in tava, apoi il transferam pe un gratar si il lasam sa se raceasca complet. Se poate servi cald, dar e si mai bun dupa ce sta cateva ore la rece – isi intensifica aroma si devine chiar mai fraged.

Se serveste simplu, cu un ceai sau o cafea, sau il putem transforma intr-un desert complet cu putina frisca, iaurt grecesc sau o lingura de crema de alune. Iar daca il faci o data, garantat bananele nu vor mai avea timp sa se inmoaie prea tare in bucatarie.

Banana Bread with Kefir – Fluffy, Fragrant, and Perfect for Any Time of Day! Got some overripe bananas sitting on your kitchen counter? Don’t toss them – this banana bread with kefir is the perfect way to use them up. It comes together quickly with simple ingredients, and the result is a moist, soft loaf with a delicate banana and vanilla aroma. The kefir gives it a tender crumb and helps it stay fresh for days – though let’s be honest, it probably won’t last that long. It’s perfect with your morning coffee, as an afternoon snack, or even as a light dessert.

INGREDIENTS (for 4 servings)

  • 65 g butter
  • 175 g ripe bananas
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 110 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 50 g kefir (I like using Artesana)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a loaf pan with a bit of butter. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients: melted butter, mashed bananas, sugar, egg, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, kefir, and vanilla.

Mix everything for about 20 seconds on medium speed (or by hand with a spatula) until the batter is well combined – don’t overmix.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 35 minutes at 180°C, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Once baked, let the bread rest in the pan for 30 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. You can enjoy it slightly warm, but it gets even better after a few hours in the fridge – the flavor deepens, and the texture becomes even softer.

Serve it as-is with tea or coffee, or turn it into a full dessert with a dollop of whipped cream, Greek yogurt, or a spoonful of nut butter. After trying it once, you’ll never let bananas go overripe again!
