  • 4 oua
  • 1 conserva de fasole boabe in sos tomat Heinz
  • 200 grame carnaciori de bere Safir
  • 4 ciuperci
  • 1 rosie
  • 100 grame bacon
  • !/2 lingurita cimbru
  • Tabasco
  • Sare

Incepem cu fasolea – o desfacem si o punem la incalzit intr-o craticioara. Nu are nevoie de multe ajustari, poate doar un praf de sare daca simti nevoia. Intre timp, pregatim legumele: curatam ciupercile si rosia si le taiem felii. Le prajim intr-o tigaie antiaderenta, fara ulei – legumele isi scot singure aroma. Le dam deoparte cand sunt usor rumenite.

In aceeasi tigaie, trecem la bacon. Il prajim pana prinde culoare si devine crocant. Apoi urmeaza carnatii – rumeniti bine, cat sa capete crusta si aroma. Pentru un plus de gust, am folosit carnatii de bere afumati si fierti de la Safir – fragezi, gustosi si exact ce trebuie pentru un mic dejun consistent in stil englezesc. Trecem totul pe o farfurie si pregatim ouale ochiuri, clasice, cu galbenus moale, exact cum cere un mic dejun englezesc.

Asezam totul pe o farfurie mare: fasolea, baconul, carnaciorii, ciupercile, rosiile si, desigur, ouale. Presaram un pic de cimbru si, daca simti nevoia de un boost, cateva picaturi de Tabasco. Se serveste cu paine prajita unsa cu unt, eventual cu o cana mare de ceai sau cafea langa.

It’s the kind of breakfast that can easily stand in for brunch—or even lunch—and gives you everything you need on one plate: protein, veggies, something crispy, and a touch of tomato sauce to wake you right up. The recipe is simple, the ingredients are easy to find, and the best part? You won’t be stuck in the kitchen for an hour. Yes, we’re using canned beans. No, it’s not a crime. In fact, Heinz baked beans in tomato sauce do a perfect job and help you whip up a British-style breakfast without needing a full BBC cooking special in your kitchen.

INGREDIENTS (for 2 servings)

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can Heinz baked beans in tomato sauce
  • 200 grams Safir beer sausages
  • 4 mushrooms
  • 1 tomato
  • 100 grams bacon
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • Tabasco (optional)
  • Salt
  • Bread (for toasting)
  • Butter (for serving)

Start with the beans—open the can and gently heat them in a small saucepan. They don’t need much adjusting, maybe just a pinch of salt if you feel like it.

Meanwhile, prep the veggies: clean the mushrooms and tomato, slice them, and cook them in a non-stick pan with no added oil—let their natural flavors do the work. Set them aside once lightly golden.

Using the same pan, fry up the bacon until it’s golden and crisp. Next, it’s time for the sausages—fry them until they’re browned and flavorful. We used the smoked and boiled beer sausages from Safir – juicy, savory, and perfect for a hearty English-style breakfast.

Once everything is ready, prepare the eggs—fried, with soft yolks, just like tradition demands.
