Crepe Tagliatelle with Fruits and Nutella

There are moments when a sudden sweet craving hits, but you’re just not in the mood for the same old crepes rolled up with jam or sugar. You want a dessert that tastes amazing and looks like something you’d say “wow” to before even taking a bite. That’s where crepe tagliatelle with fruit and Nutella come in – a delicious twist on classic crepes, turned into a spectacular, creamy, colorful dessert full of flavor. Fresh fruit, melted Nutella, and delicate crepes sliced into pasta-like ribbons – it all comes together on a plate that looks restaurant-worthy but is surprisingly simple to make at home. Perfect for a fancy breakfast, a weekend brunch, or one of those moments when you want to impress without a lot of effort.

INGREDIENTS (for 4 servings)

  • 2 eggs
  • 150 grams flour
  • 360 ml milk
  • 30 grams butter
  • A pinch of salt
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Nutella

The recipe isn’t complicated, but the final result looks like a showstopper on a plate. Start with the crepes. In a bowl, mix together the eggs, flour, milk, and a pinch of salt until smooth and lump-free, with the texture of liquid whipped cream. If the batter feels too thick, add a splash more milk or even some sparkling water. Then stir in the melted butter and let the batter rest for at least 30 minutes. It’s a step many skip, but it really makes a difference in texture.

When the batter’s ready, heat a nonstick pan and lightly brush it with a tiny bit of oil. The trick is to wipe off the excess with a paper towel – you don’t want it greasy. Pour the batter into a piping bag or squeeze bottle and drizzle it in a zig-zag pattern into the pan, creating long ribbons like tagliatelle. Cook for about 2 minutes on medium heat, then remove and repeat until you’ve used all the batter.

Now for the fun part: place your crepe tagliatelle onto a plate, top with fresh strawberries and blueberries, and drizzle generously with Nutella. Not too much – just enough to make you forget that you said “I’ll eat lighter today.” Serve immediately, preferably with a strong espresso if it’s breakfast… or just as is if you’re going full dessert mode.

What’s great about this recipe is that it looks fancy, but it’s quick and low-effort. It’s perfect for a special breakfast, a relaxed weekend brunch, or anytime you want a beautiful dessert that doesn’t require baking.

These crepe tagliatelle with Nutella and fruit prove that you don’t need to reinvent the wheel – sometimes all you need is to slice a crepe differently, and voilà: dessert perfection.
