INGREDIENTE / INGREDIENTS

(pentru 3 portii / for 3 servings)

  • 3 zucchini / 3 zucchini
  • 200 grame ricotta / 200 grams ricotta
  • 200 ml smantana dulce / 200 ml double cream
  • 600 grame carne tocata / 600 grams minced meat
  • 1 ceapa / 1 onion
  • 3 catei de usturoi / 3 garlic cloves
  • 200 grame pasta de rosii / 200 grams tomato sauce
  • 2 lingurite oregano / 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 1/2 lingurita piper / 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 lingura ulei de masline / 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 50 ml vin rosu / 50 ml red wine
  • Sare / Salt

Taiem dovleceii in jumatati si cu ajutorul unei lingurite scoatem miezul acestora. Presaram dovleceii cu sare si ii asezam intr-o tava de copt. Ii introducem in cuptorul incins la 180 grade Celsius pentru 30 de minute.

Intre timp pregatim cele doua sosuri. Pentru sosul de branza, amestecam branza ricotta cu smantana dulce, o lingurita de oregano si sare. Pastram la rece pana cand sunt copti dovleceii.

Pentru sosul de carne, putem folosi carne de vita, porc, curcan sau pui. Daca ne dorim o varianta dietica, alegem carne de pui sau curcan sau chiar un amestec din cele doua, in functie de preferinte.

Tocam marunt ceapa si usturoiul si calim cu o lingura de ulei de masline timp de 1 minut. Adaugam miezul dovleceilor, carnea tocata, sarea, oregano, piperul si vinul rosu. Gatim sub capac timp de 30 de minute, amestecand ocazional. Adaugam pasta de tomate si mai gatim 15 minute.

Cand dovleceii sunt copti, ii scoatem din cuptor si ii umplem cu un strat de ricotta, un strat de sos de carne si presaram mozzarella rasa. Dam la cuptor, la 180 grade Celsius pentru 15 minute. In ultimele 3 minute, pornim functia grill pentru a-i gratina frumos. Ii supraveghem permanent astfel incat sa nu ii ardem. In functie de cuptorul fiecaruia, putem sa mai reducem sau mai extindem timpul de gatire astfel incat sa avem niste barcute frumos rumenite.

Lasagna Zucchini Boats

Lasagna Zucchini Boat or soft baked zucchini, filled with a mixture of ricotta and double cream, covered with a sauce of minced meat, tomatoes and vegetables and finished with mozzarella gratin. Perfect for a quick lunch or an elegant date, these zucchini lasagna boats are not only flavorful, but can be a versatile meal that suits any occasion.

Cut the zucchini in half and remove the core with a spoon. Sprinkle the zucchini with salt and place them in a baking tray. Put them in the oven heated to 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare the sauces. For the cheese sauce, mix ricotta cheese with double cream, 1 teaspoon of oregano and salt. Keep it cold until the zucchini are cooked.

For the meat sauce, we can use beef, pork, turkey or chicken. If we want a dietary option,choose chicken or turkey or even a mixture of the two, depending on preferences.

Finely chop the onion and garlic and saute in a tablespoon of olive oil for 1 minute. Add the zucchini core, minced meat, salt, oregano, pepper and red wine. Cook covered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the tomato paste and cook for another 15 minutes.

When the zucchini are cooked, take them out of the oven and fill them with a layer of ricotta, a layer of meat sauce and sprinkle with grated mozzarella. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes. In the last 3 minutes, turn on the grill function to brown them nicely. Constantly supervise them in order not to burn them. Depending on each oven, reduce or extend the cooking time so that become nicely browned.

Serve the zucchini boats with green salad.
