Meniul include o varietate de fripturi, burgeri si preparate din carne, toate gatite la perfectiune, dar preturile sunt destul de ridicate, reflectand renumele si locatia deosebita. Atmosfera este eleganta, dar poate deveni aglomerata in anumite momente ale zilei, avand in vedere popularitatea locului. Nu prea exista posibilitatea servirii mesei (in special a cinei) fara rezervare prealabila, mai ales daca va gasiti intr-un grup mai mare. Chiar si cu rezervare, la sosire este o coada de asteptare de cateva minute pentru pregatirea mesei.

Este o alegere excelenta pentru iubitorii de carne care doresc sa se bucure de un rasfat culinar, dar trebuie sa fiti pregatiti pentru costuri mai mari in special daca alegeti sa serviti si bauturi alcoolice.

Nusret Gökçe, cunoscut si sub numele de „Salt Bae” a devenit faimos pe plan international pentru modul sau distinctiv de a condimenta mancarea, in special friptura, presarand sare cu un gest teatral. Nusret a inceput ca macelar si mai tarziu a devenit bucatar si antreprenor, construind un imperiu global de restaurante, Nusr-Et Steakhouse, fiind prezent in mai multe orase mari de pe mapamond: Londra, New York, Las Vegas, Dallas, Miami, Beverly Hills, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, Mykonos, Ankara, Bodrum, Marmaris. Inclusiv in Istanbul sunt mai multe locatii (una din ele chiar in Terminalul Plecari al Aeroportului International Istanbul – IST), insa noi am ales locatia din Grand Bazaar, fiind foarte aproape de hotel.

Am incercat cateva dintre preparatele cele mai solicitate: New York Steak, Nusr-Et Spaghetti (Thinly Sliced Striploin), Nusr-Et Burger (Smoked Beef, Caramelized Onion, Cheddar Cheese).

Located within the Istanbul Grand Bazaar, Nusr-Et Steakhouse Sandal Bedesteni offers an exceptional culinary experience, with a focus on high-quality meat dishes in a modern and sophisticated setting. The restaurant is famous for its unique presentation style, with attentive and energetic staff, and if you’re (a little bit more) lucky, the renowned butcher, chef, and Turkish entrepreneur Nusret Gökçe, known as „Salt Bae,” might add an element of entertainment during your meal.

The menu includes a variety of steaks, burgers, and meat dishes, all cooked to perfection, though the prices are quite high, reflecting the restaurant’s reputation and its exceptional location. The atmosphere is elegant but can become crowded at certain times of the day, given the popularity of the venue. Dining (especially dinner) without a reservation is not easy, especially if you’re in a larger group. Even with a reservation, there may be a short wait at the entrance to prepare the table.

It’s an excellent choice for meat lovers who want to indulge in a culinary treat, but be prepared for higher costs, especially if you choose to enjoy alcoholic beverages.

Nusret Gökçe, also known as „Salt Bae,” became internationally famous for his distinctive way of seasoning food, especially steak, by sprinkling salt with a theatrical gesture. Nusret started as a butcher and later became a chef and entrepreneur, building a global restaurant empire, Nusr-Et Steakhouse, with locations in major cities worldwide: London, New York, Las Vegas, Dallas, Miami, Beverly Hills, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, Mykonos, Aknara, Bodrum, Marmaris. There are also several locations in Istanbul (one even in the Departure Terminal of Istanbul International Airport – IST), but we chose the Grand Bazaar location as it was very close to our hotel.

We tried some of the most requested dishes: New York Steak, Nusr-Et Spaghetti (Thinly Sliced Striploin), Nusr-Et Burger (Smoked Beef, Caramelized Onion, Cheddar Cheese).

For comparison, we tried Havuc Dilimi for dessert – the famous baklava with elastic ice cream; a delicious dish with an amazing serving show!

The experience was complete and flawless, reminding me of a steakhouse I tried a few years ago in Baku: Mangal Steak House.
