Pretzel Breakfast – Covrigii care iti transforma dimineata in sarbatoare! Te-ai saturat de acelasi mic dejun plictisitor? Hai sa-ti zic un secret: un covrig bine rumenit, un strat generos de crema de branza, o felie de prosciutto cotto si un ou prajit perfect pot face minuni pentru inceputul zilei tale! Pretzel Breakfast nu este doar un mic dejun – este o experienta! Crocant, cremos, sarat cat trebuie si cu un strop de picant, acest sandwich te va face sa uiti de banalul toast cu unt. Suna bine, nu? INGREDIENTE (pentru 2 portii)
- 2 covrigi Pretzel
- 1 lingura cascaval ras
- 80 grame crema de branza Almette cu smantana
- 100 grame prosciutto cotto
- 2 oua
- 1 lingurita fulgi de chilli in ulei
- 1 lingura ulei de masline
- Sare

Pentru aceasta reteta, am folosit covrigii congelati din selectia „Saptamana Alpina” de la Lidl. I-am lasat la temperatura camerei timp de 15 minute, cat timp s-a incalzit cuptorul. Ulterior, am presarat un covrig cu sare si pe celalalt cu cascaval ras, apoi i-am introdus in cuptorul preincalzit la 200°C pentru aproximativ 12 minute, pana au devenit frumos rumeniti.

Dupa coacere, i-am lasat sa se racoreasca putin, apoi i-am taiat transversal. Pe baza fiecarui covrig, am intins un strat generos de crema de branza si am asezat o felie de prosciutto cotto.

Intr-o tigaie, am incalzit putin ulei de masline, am adaugat o lingurita de chilli si am prajit ouale – fie simultan, fie pe rand, in functie de dimensiunea tigaii. Oul ochi l-am asezat peste sunca, completand sandwich-ul cu cealalta jumatate a covrigului.

Se serveste cu pofta, pentru un mic dejun rafinat si savuros!

Pretzel Breakfast is not just a breakfast – it’s an experience! Crispy, creamy, just salty enough, with a hint of spice, this sandwich will make you forget all about plain buttered toast. INGREDIENTS (for 2 servings)
- 2 Pretzel rolls
- 1 tablespoon grated cheese
- 80 grams cream cheese with sour cream (Almette)
- 100 grams prosciutto cotto
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes in oil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt
For this recipe, I used frozen pretzels from the „Alpine Week” selection at Lidl. I left them at room temperature for 15 minutes while the oven preheated. Then, I sprinkled one pretzel with salt and the other with grated cheese, and placed them in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 12 minutes, until they turned golden and crispy.
After baking, I let them cool slightly, then cut them horizontally. On each pretzel base, I spread a generous layer of cream cheese and placed a slice of prosciutto cotto.
In a pan, I heated a little olive oil, added a teaspoon of chili, and fried the eggs – either at the same time or one by one, depending on the size of your pan. I placed the fried egg over the prosciutto and completed the sandwich with the other half of the pretzel.
Serve with joy for a refined and savory breakfast!
