INGREDIENTE (pentru 2 portii)

  • 4 rosii
  • 2 bucati ceapa rosie
  • 200 grame halloumi
  • 4 fire menta
  • 3 linguri ulei de masline
  • Sare
Salata cu rosii, ceapa, menta si halloumi

Pasul initial consta in desararea branzei halloumi. O taiem in felii groase de aproximativ 1 cm si le lasam la desarat in apa rece pentru 15 – 30 de minute.

Intre timp taiem rosiile si ceapa in felii subtiri. Presaram cu sare si adaugam 2 linguri de ulei de masline si 3 fire de menta tocate marunt.

Incingem o tigaie si adaugam o lingura de ulei de masline. Prajim feliile de halloumi si le asezam peste salata de rosii.

Servim salata alaturi de felii de paine prajita.

Tomatoes, Onions, Mint and Halloumi Salad

Tomatoes, Onions, Mint and Halloumi Salad brings with it an explosion of colors and flavors in the kitchen. With the arrival of spring, salads are the perfect option on a warm day. Today we propose to discover together a simple and delicious recipe. This salad full of freshness and flavor is ideal for a light dinner. Combining the sweetness of fresh tomatoes, the crunch of red onions and the refreshing aroma of mint, this salad will surely delight the taste buds.

INGREDIENTS (for 2 servings)

  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 pieces of red onion
  • 200 grams of halloumi
  • 4 mint leaves
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt

The initial step consists in desalting the halloumi cheese. Cut it into slices about 1 cm thick and leave them to desalt in cold water for 15 – 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, cut the tomatoes and onions into thin slices. Sprinkle with salt and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 3 finely chopped mint sprigs.

Heat a pan and add a spoonful of olive oil. Fry the halloumi slices and place them on top of the tomato salad.
