Eggs en Cocotte (also called baked eggs) is a French recipe for slow-cooking eggs in a water bath, along with heavy cream and cheese. A quick and impressive breakfast! They cook extremely fast and are super creamy and delicious. We traditionally serve them hot, with slices of toast. Once you try them, they will quickly become your favorite breakfast or brunch!

For this recipe we need small heat-resistant dishes, which we grease with a teaspoon of soft butter. Break 2 eggs in each bowl, sprinkle with chopped cheese and pour heavy cream on top. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and cover each dish with a lid.

Place the individual dishes in a higher tray and then add hot water to half the height of the individual dishes. Put the pan in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes.

Sprinkle parsley on top and serve with toast.

You can find the video details of the recipe here.
