INGREDIENTS (for 4 servings)

For Tantuni Wraps:

  • 800 grams chicken or turkey breast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sumac
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 25 grams butter
  • 100 ml water

To serve:

  • 5 medium red onions
  • 1 teaspoon sumac
  • 1/2 bunch green parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 pita bread
  • 4 tablespoons hummus
  • Salt

Start by cutting the chicken or turkey breast into very small cubes, which we season with salt, cumin, sumac, paprika, cayenne pepper and a spoonful of olive oil. Let the meat marinate in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.

In the meantime, prepare the red onion salad. Clean the onion and cut it into thin slices. Add salt, sumac, chili flakes, finely chopped parsley and olive oil. Mix well and set aside.

In a deep pan, add a spoonful of olive oil and butter. Then add the marinated meat and cook on medium heat until it changes color, then add water and a little paprika and continue to cook on medium heat for 10 minutes, until the meat is cooked and the water evaporates.

Add one pita bread over the meat, in the form of a lid, until it heats up. Then put it on a plate and spread it with a spoonful of hummus. Add meat, onion salad, diced tomatoes and roll. Repeat the same process with the remaining bread.

Serve Tantuni Wrap with fried potatoes, to be preferred at ActiFry with reduced fat content, hummus, onion and tomato salad.
