In asteptarea Craciunului ne incalzim cu o cana de vin fiert. Nelipsit de la targurile de Craciun, vinul fiert este asociat cu zilele friguroase, cu bradul frumos impodobit, cu momentele magice petrecute alaturi de familie. Exista o reteta clasica? As putea spune ca nu. Reteta ideala este cea care ne este pe plac. Preferata noastra este cea a vinului fiert aromat cu scortisoara, cuisoare, anason, dafin si desavarsit cu felii de portocale sau mere.
INGREDIENTE / INGREDIENTS
(pentru 2 portii / for 2 servings)
- 500 ml vin rosu / 500 ml red wine
- 80 grame zahar / 80 grams sugar
- 1 lingurita coaja de portocala / 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 50 ml suc de portocale / 50 ml orange juice
- 1/2 portocala feliata / 1/2 sliced orange
- 2 cuisoare / 2 cloves
- 1 bat de scortisoara / 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 foaie de dafin / 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 anason stelat / 1/2 star anise
Intr-un ibric punem zaharul, coaja si sucul de portocala. Fierbem la foc mic timp de 5 minute.
Adaugam cuisoarele, scortisoara, dafinul si 100 ml de vin. Fierbem timp de 10 minute, apoi adaugam restul de vin si anasonul stelat. Incalzim pana ajunge la punctul de fierbere si dam deoparte.
Strecuram vinul fiert si il servim alaturi de felii de portocala.

Incercati aceasta reteta cu cel mai bun vin rosu: Negru de Valahia de la Crama Stramutata, un Merlot obtinut din primii struguri culesi din vita-de-vie tanara. Este un vin rosu cu buchet floral caracteristic, cu un continut ponderat de tanin.

Mulled Wine
Waiting for the Christmas, we warm ourselves with a cup of mulled wine. Indispensable at Christmas markets, mulled wine is associated with cold days, with the beautifully Christmas tree, with magical moments spent with the family. Is there a classic recipe? I would say no. The ideal recipe is the one that our family likes. Our favorite recipe is mulled wine flavored with cinnamon, cloves, anise, bay and topped with orange or apple slices.
Put the sugar, orange peel and orange juice in a kettle. Boil on low heat for 5 minutes.
Add the cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf and 100 ml of wine. Boil for 10 minutes, then add the rest of the wine and star anise. Heat until it reaches the boiling point and set aside.
Strain the mulled wine and serve it with orange slices.
