Zaalouk – Vinete marocane este o reteta care aduce destul de mult cu zacusca noastra. Condimentata mai puternic, dar in acelasi timp mai lejera din punct de vedere al modalitatii de gatire, aceste vinete sunt foarte potrivite unei zile de post alaturi de un colt de paine integrala cu seminte, proaspat scoasa din cuptor.

INGREDIENTE / INGREDIENTS

( pentru 4 portii / for 4 seevings)

  • 2 vinete / 2 eggplants
  • 1 lingurita chimen / 1 teaspoon caraway
  • 1 lingurita oregano / 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 lingurita fulgi de chilli / 1/4 chilli flakes
  • Sucul de la 1/2 lamaie / Juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1 legatura patrunjel / 1 bunch parsley
  • 1 capatana usturoi / 1 garlic
  • 2 linguri ulei de masline / 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 400 grame rosii in sos / 400 grams tomatoes in sauce
  • Sare / Salt

Pentru aceasta reteta am ales sa folosesc Tefal One Pot. Asadar, punem in oala uleiul de masline si alegem functia “Brown”. Incalzim putin si adaugam chimenul, oregano si fulgii de chilli. Dupa 1-2 minute adaugam usturoiul taiat marunt, rosiile in sos de tomate, vinetele curatate si taiate in cuburi. Inchidem capacul oalei si alegem functia “Stew” pentru 10 minute. Depresurizam si adaugam apoi sucul de lamaie si patrunjelul taiat marunt.

In cazul in care nu aveti One Pot-ul de la Tefal, puteti pregati reteta in modul traditional, marind doar timpii de preparare.

Servim vinetele marocane presarate cu patrunjel verde alaturi de cateva felii de paine integrala.

Daca v-a placut reteta Zaalouk – Vinete marocane, va recomand sa incercati si vinete cu sos harissa si crema de feta, un pate vegetal sau vinete panzanella.

Zaalouk – Moroccan eggplant

Zaalouk – Moroccan eggplant is a recipe that brings quite a bit with romanian eggplant specialty “zacusca”. Spiced more strongly, but at the same time lighter in terms of cooking, these eggplants are very suitable for a veggi day with a loaf of wholemeal bread with hot seeds.

For this recipe I chose to use Tefal One Pot. So, put the olive oil in the pot and choose the „Brown” function. Heat and add the caraway, oregano and chilli flakes. After 1-2 minutes add the finely chopped garlic, tomatoes in tomato sauce, eggplant peeled and cut into cubes. Close the lid of the pot and choose the „Stew” function for 10 minutes. Depressurize and then add the lemon juice and finely chopped parsley.

If you do not have the One Pot from Tefal, you can prepare the recipe in the traditional way, increasing only the cooking time.

Serve the Moroccan eggplant sprinkled with green parsley with a few slices of wholemeal bread.
