INGREDIENTE / INGREDIENTS
(pentru 4 portii / for 4 servings)
- 2 avocado / 2 avocados
- 1 rodie / 1 pomegranate
- 1 ceapa rosie / 1 red onion
- 1 ardei jalapeno / 1 jalapeno
- Sucul de la 1/2 lime / Juice from 1/2 lime
- 1 lingura ulei de masline / 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Sare / Salt
Taiem avocado in jumatate si indepartam samburele. Cu ajutorul unei linguri scoatem avocado intr-un bol. Adaugam sucul de lime si sarea si pasam cu ajutorul unei furculite.
In bolul unui blender punem ceapa si ardeiul jalapeno curatat de seminte. Mixam si adaugam peste avocado alaturi de semintele de rodie.
Servim simplu alaturi de nachos sau ca si garnitura langa un fel principal.

Avocado with Pomegranate Salsa
Pomegranate… A jewel among winter fruits, with its sweet citrus aroma and vibrant ruby color, this fruit makes even a simple salsa shine. Infused with a dash of spices, jalapeños and red onion, it’s a total flavor fiesta. So let it be avocado with pomegranate salsa.
Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. With the help of a spoon, remove the avocado into a bowl. Add the lime juice and salt and mash with a fork.
In the blender put the onion and the deseeded jalapeno pepper. Mix and add over the avocado along with the pomegranate seeds.
Serve simply with nachos or with a main dish.
