INGREDIENTE (pentru 2 portii)

  • 4 cartofi
  • 1 lingurita ustururoi pudra
  • 1 lingutita paprika
  • 1 lingura ulei de masline
  • Sare

Spalam cartofii si ii fierbem timp de 30 de minute in apa cu o lingura de sare. Dupa ce s-au racit, ii curatam si ii taiem in felii groase, pe care le presaram cu sare, usturoi pudra si paprika dulce sau picanta, in functie de preferinte.

Am ales sa utilizez Tefal Actifry, insa, in mod similar, procesul poate fi aplicat si pentru prepararea lor la cuptor. Asezam cartofii in tava si ii stropim cu o lingura de ulei de masline. Alegem programul pentru cartofi prajiti si ii gatim timp de 30 de minute sau, alternativ, introducem tava in cuptorul preincalzit la 180 de grade, pentru aceeasi durata, pana cand devin frumos rumeniti.

With the Perfect Wedges recipe, you get a crispy-on-the-outside, soft-and-flavorful-on-the-inside dish that is much healthier than traditional fried potatoes. The secret lies in baking them either in a Tefal Actifry or in the oven, using only a minimal amount of oil.

These potato wedges are the perfect balance between taste and nutrition, making them an excellent choice both as a snack and as a side dish. Sprinkled with selected spices and baked until golden and tempting, they will win over anyone—without the need for deep frying. Discover below how easy they are to prepare!

INGREDIENTS (for 2 servings)

  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt

Wash the potatoes and boil them for 30 minutes in water with a tablespoon of salt. Once cooled, peel them and cut them into thick slices, then season with salt, garlic powder, and either sweet or spicy paprika, depending on your preference.

I chose to use a Tefal Actifry, but the same method can be applied for oven-baking. Arrange the potatoes on a baking tray and drizzle them with a teaspoon of olive oil. Select the fries program and cook for 30 minutes, or alternatively, place the tray in a preheated oven at 180°C for the same duration, until they turn beautifully golden and crispy.

Serve them as they are, with sour cream, or as a side dish for a main course.
