Venita cu niscaiva treaba prin Capitala, eram in cautarea unei locatii dragute pentru un mic dejun tarziu dar si sursa de inspiratie pentru blog. Sincer mi-as fi dorit sa fie un loc in care sa pot face o rezervare pentru ca eram mai multi, insa pentru ca nu am gasit asa ceva, am schimbat oarescum filtrul de cautare pentru ceva cu o capacitate mai mare. In urma unei recomandari venite din partea unui „localnic” am ajuns la B4 Market – The Breakfast Restaurant. Venit, vazut, placut, postat la categoria „Unde mancam (cel mai bun mic dejun) in … Bucuresti”.

Situat la intrarea in Parcul Floreasca, restaurantul este unul deosebit de placut, cu un design fresh & cozy. Desi in multe momente intrarea pare teribil de aglomerata, cu o coada de asteptare destul de descurajatoare, sistemul de servire si capacitatea restaurantului (interior + teresa) fac ca timpul de asteptare sa fie unul mai mult decat rezonabil. As putea spune, fara teama ca o sa gresesc, ca parcarea in zona poate constitui o provocare mult mai mare, insa sunt putine locuri in Bucuresti (si chiar si in tara!) unde nu este.

Dar sa trec la partea cea mai faina: meniul. Am fost multi asa ca am incercat (aproape) din toate: celebrul English Breakfast, clasicul Avocado Toast, o inedita omleta proteica in combinatie cu o Buratta con testa dar si un Continental & Orange Juice.

De la sectiunea Coffees and more am ales fiecare altceva, toate bune. Desi in planul initial lasasem loc pentru ceva croissante – varianta XXL, din motive de „spatiu” am ales sa impartim ceva de sezon, si anume Mucenici – varianta moldoveneasca, care s-au dovedit a fi unii dintre cei mai reusiti incercati pana acum, oricum cea mai apropiata de reteta postata pe blogul meu.      

Placuta si atitudinea personalului, niste oameni faini si nu ma refer aici la modul elegant si deosebit de profesional in care au rezolvat o mica problema aparuta la unul dintre preparate, ci la maniera de servire in general.

Am pus asadar un capac dulce cu o prajiturica primita din partea casei, pe care gazdele au insistat sa o gustam.

Excelenta locatie! Preparate delicioase! Super-experienta! Cu siguranta voi reveni si mai cu seama o voi recomanda si altor iubitori de mic dejun si oameni faini.

Where to Eat (the Best Breakfast) in… Bucuresti

Coming with some business in Bucharest, I was looking for a nice place for a late breakfast but also a source of inspiration for the blog. Honestly, I wish there was a place where I could make a reservation because there were more of us, but because I didn’t find something like that, I somehow changed the search filter for something with a larger capacity. Following a recommendation from a „local” I arrived at B4 Market – The Breakfast Restaurant. Came, saw, liked, posted in the „Where to eat (best breakfast) in … Bucharest” category.

Located at the entrance to Floreasca Park, the restaurant is a particularly pleasant one, with a fresh & cozy design. Although in many moments the entrance seems terribly crowded, with a rather discouraging queue, the serving system and the capacity of the restaurant (interior + terrace) make the waiting time more than reasonable. I could say, without fear of being wrong, that parking in the area can be a much bigger challenge, but there are few places in Bucharest (and even in the country!) where it is not.

But let’s move on to the best part: the menu. There were many of us so we tried (almost) everything: the famous English Breakfast, the classic Avocado Toast, a unique protein omelet in combination with a Buratta con testa and a Continental & Orange Juice.

From the Coffees area everyone had chosen a different drink . Although in the initial plan we had left room for some croissants – the XXL version, for reasons of „space” we chose to share something seasonal, namely Mucenici – the Moldovan version, which turned out to be some of the most successful tried so far, anyway, the closest to the recipe posted on my blog.

The attitude of the staff was also pleasant, some nice people, and I’m not referring here to the elegant and particularly professional way in which they solved a small problem with one of the dishes, but to the way of serving in general.

So we put a sweet cover with a cookie received from the house, which the hosts insisted we taste.

Excellent location! Delicious dishes! Super experience! I will definitely come back and I will definitely recommend it to other breakfast lovers and people.
