INGREDIENTE (pentru 10 bucati)

  • 450 grame faina
  • 80 grame unt
  • 20 grame zahar
  • 2 lingurite drojdie uscata
  • 80 ml lapte
  • 150 ml apa
  • 1,5 lingurita sare
  • 1 ou
  • 1 galbenus
  • Seminte susan
Chifle de burger

Intr-un bol mic, amestecam drojdia cu zaharul, laptele si apa calduta. Omogenizam compozitia si o lasam la dospit timp de 10 minute.

Turnam amestecul peste faina cernuta si combinata in prealabil cu sarea. Adaugam untul moale si oul, apoi framantam pana obtinem un aluat neted si elastic. Pentru aceasta etapa, putem folosi fie un mixer, fie framantam manual.

Transferam aluatul intr-un bol uns cu putin ulei de masline sau cu unt topit, acoperim cu un prosop curat de bucatarie si il lasam la dospit timp de aproximativ o ora, intr-un loc cald.

Dupa ce aluatul si-a dublat volumul, il rasturnam pe o planseta infainata si il impartim in 10 parti egale (aproximativ 80 g fiecare). Modelam fiecare bucata sub forma de chifla si le asezam intr-o tava tapetata cu hartie de copt. Acoperim din nou cu un prosop si le lasam la crescut pentru inca 30 de minute.

Inainte de coacere, ungem fiecare chifla cu galbenus de ou folosind o pensula si presaram seminte de susan deasupra.

Introducem tava in cuptorul preincalzit la 180°C si, in acelasi timp, asezam pe raftul inferior al cuptorului un vas termorezistent cu apa fierbinte. Aburul creat in primele 10 minute va ajuta la formarea unei cruste fine si a unei texturi usoare. Dupa cele 10 minute, scoatem vasul cu apa si continuam coacerea pentru inca 10 minute, pana cand chiflele sunt frumos rumenite.

Dupa coacere, le transferam pe un gratar metalic si le lasam sa se raceasca complet. Se servesc ca atare sau in burgerul preferat.

INGREDIENTS (for 10 buns):

  • 450 g flour
  • 80 g butter
  • 20 g sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dry yeast
  • 80 ml milk
  • 150 ml water
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Sesame seeds

In a small bowl, mix the yeast with the sugar, milk, and lukewarm water. Stir to combine and let sit for 10 minutes to activate.

Pour the mixture over the sifted flour combined with salt. Add the softened butter and the egg, then knead until the dough becomes smooth and elastic. You can use either a stand mixer or knead it by hand.

Transfer the dough to a bowl lightly greased with olive oil or melted butter. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for about one hour, until doubled in size.

Once risen, turn the dough out onto a floured surface and divide it into 10 equal portions (about 80 g each). Shape each portion into a round bun and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Cover with a towel again and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

Before baking, brush each bun with egg yolk using a pastry brush and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Place the tray in a preheated oven at 180°C. At the same time, place an oven-safe dish filled with hot water on the bottom rack of the oven. The steam generated during the first 10 minutes of baking will help create a delicate crust and light texture. After 10 minutes, remove the water dish and continue baking for another 10 minutes, or until the buns are beautifully golden.

Once baked, transfer the buns to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve them as is, or build your favorite burger with them.
