Lipsea din palmaresul “Inspiratie la fix” acest model international de mic dejun. Adevarul este ca nu m-a atras niciodata sa il incerc in vreuna dintre vacante. Aveam intotdeauna alternative. Un English Breakfast mi se parea prea complex pentru un mic dejun. Pana la urma am decis sa ii dau o sansa. Este satios, destul de consistent si destul de complicat ca mod de pregatire. Insa merita ca macar o data sa incercati aceasta combinatie de gusturi, texturi si arome.

INGREDIENTE / INGREDIENTS:

(pentru 2 portii / for 2 servings)

  • 4 oua / 4 eggs
  • 150 grame fasole fiarta / 150 grams boiled beans
  • 1 ceapa / 1 onion
  • 2 linguri pasta de ardei / 2 tablespoons pepper sauce
  • 2 cartofi / 2 potatoes
  • 200 grame ciuperci / 200 grams mushrooms
  • 50 grame bacon feliat / 50 grams sliced bacon
  • Mix de salata verde / Green salad mix
  • Ulei / Oil
  • Sare / Salt

Intr-o craticioara incingem 1 lingura de ulei si calim usor ceapa taiata marunt. Adaugam imediat 5-6 linguri de apa si continuam sa gatim ceapa. Adaugam apoi fasolea fiarta si pasta de ardei dulce sau picanta, dupa plac. Mai lasam pe foc 5 – 7 minute, amestecand constant.

Pentru a pregati cartofii, ii spalam bine si ii taiem in cuburi mari. Ii fierbem timp de 10 minute, ii scurgem si ii prajim in baie de ulei sau in Actifry Tefal fara adaos de ulei.

Intr-o tigaie incingem o lingura de ulei si adaugam ciupercile curatate si taiate in 4. Le prajim la foc mare pana devin aurii. La sfarsit le presaram cu cimbru uscat.

Separat prajim feliile de bacon fara adaos de ulei si pregatim ouale ochiuri.

Servim micul dejun englezesc alaturi de salata verde pregatita cu ulei de masline, sare si otet balsamic si paine prajita.

This international dish was missing from the „Inspiratie la Fix” palmares. The truth is that I was never attracted to try it during any vacations. I always had other alternatives. An English Breakfast seemed too complex for breakfast. In the end, I decided to give it a try. It is hearty, quite consistent and a little bit to complicated as a way of preparation. But it is worth trying this combination of tastes, textures and flavors at least once.

In a saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil and lightly sauté the finely chopped onion. Immediately add 5-6 tablespoons of water and continue to cook onions. Then add the boiled beans and the sweet or spicy pepper paste, as you like. Let it simmer for another 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly.

To prepare the potatoes, wash them well and cut them into large cubes. Boil them for 10 minutes, drain them and fry them in an oil bath or in Actifry Tefal without adding oil.

In a pan, heat a tablespoon of oil and add the cleaned mushrooms cuted into 4. Fry them over high heat until golden. At the sprinkled them with dried thyme.

Separately fry the bacon slices without the addition of oil and prepare the fried eggs.

Serve English breakfast with mixt green salad prepared with olive oil, salt and balsamic vinegar and toast.
